Palma Nova (southwest Mallorca) and Porto Cristo (east coast) are served from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). There is no island-wide rail; the TIB/EMT intercity bus network and taxis/rental cars are the practical options.
Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI): The main airport for Mallorca; Palma Nova and Porto Cristo are reached from PMI by bus, taxi or car. Taxi transfers to Palma Nova typically take ~20-30 minutes; to Porto Cristo ~50-70 minutes depending on traffic.
Other regional airports: No other international airports serve Mallorca; all scheduled international flights use PMI.
Train: Mallorca’s rail network is local to Palma; there is no island-wide rail to Palma Nova or Porto Cristo.
Bus: Mallorca’s interurban bus network (TIB / Mallorca buses) connects Palma with towns around the island. From Palma Airport you can change to buses toward Calvià/Magaluf (for Palma Nova) or to Manacor/Porto Cristo lines for the east coast.
