Place d’Alliance is an 18th-century urban square in Nancy, Grand Est, and forms part of the larger Baroque urban arrangement around Place Stanislas. The square is one element of a planned civic ensemble from the mid-1700s.
The square is framed by classical façades and connects visually and spatially with Place Stanislas and Place de la Carrière, contributing to the city’s unified 18th-century townscape.
The square was created in the mid-18th century during the urban programme led by Duke Stanisław Leszczyński and implemented by architects such as Emmanuel Héré. It has retained its role as part of Nancy’s historic civic layout.
