Phantasialand

Phantasialand is a theme park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, founded by Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Richard Schmidt and operating since the late 1960s as a major regional amusement park.

The park is known for dense, highly themed areas and a mix of thrill coasters, dark rides and live shows across roughly 28 hectares. Standout experiences include the rock-work village Klugheim with the multi-launch coaster Taron, the inverted coaster Black Mamba in Mystery, and several family and children’s zones.

Phantasialand was developed and expanded over decades by the founding family and subsequent management, with major investments in themed lands and signature attractions-notably the Klugheim and Rookburgh expansions in recent years. The park emphasizes immersive architecture, elaborate shows and high-capacity attractions.

The park sits in the town of Brühl, about 20 km southwest of Cologne and roughly the same distance from Bonn, within easy road and rail connections from those cities.
