From Chipata to Petauke you must continue by road - shared minibuses (local kombis) and taxis run the route; expect roughly 2.5-4 hours on the road. Prices for a private taxi are typically in the range of USD 40-80; shared minibuses are much cheaper but variable (ask locally).

Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Lusaka (LUN): Lusaka is the main international gateway for eastern Zambia.
