Passeig de Lluís Companys is a tree-lined promenade in Barcelona that links the Arc de Triomf at its northern end with Parc de la Ciutadella at the southern end. It is named for Catalan president Lluís Companys and functions as a formal pedestrian axis near the city center.

The promenade is flanked by palms and public seating and is used for strolling, cycling and public gatherings; it provides a clear sightline from the Arc de Triomf into the park. The northern terminus features the red-brick Arc de Triomf, built for the 1888 Universal Exposition, while the southern terminus opens into green space and civic attractions.

The avenue developed as part of Barcelona’s late 19th-century urban works associated with the Universal Exposition and has since been maintained as a civic promenade and event route. It sits on the boundary between the Ciutat Vella and Eixample districts and serves as a pedestrian link to nearby neighborhoods such as El Born.

The promenade runs through central Barcelona, immediately adjacent to the El Born and La Ribera neighborhoods and a short walk from the city’s main transport routes and tourist areas.
