Paseo de los Tristes is a historic riverside promenade in Granada, Andalusia, that runs along the south bank of the Río Darro at the foot of the Alhambra. The name translates as “Promenade of the Sad Ones” and reflects its association with funeral processions.

The street is valued for its close views of the Alhambra’s lower façades and towers and for the narrow, historic streets and cafés that line the river. It connects the area around Plaza Nueva with the Albaicín quarter and is a common route for sightseeing between those points.

The promenade follows an old route along the river and acquired its modern name in the 19th century in connection with funerary processions that passed along the way. It has long been part of the urban fabric beneath the Alhambra and retains historic stone paving and riverside walls.

Sited at the base of the Alhambra on the Darro valley, the paseo is within walking distance of central Granada landmarks such as Plaza Nueva and the lower Albaicín; the Sierra Nevada mountains rise to the east.
