Parchi di Nervi is a collection of linked parks and historic villa gardens along the Nervi waterfront in the eastern district of Genoa. The ensemble combines landscaped grounds, villa plots and a coastal promenade.
Visitors find planted terraces, mature trees and seaside walking routes with frequent viewpoints over the Ligurian Sea. The area is also known for its promenades and for being a coastal green zone within the city rather than a single formal park.
The gardens and villas that make up the complex date largely from the 19th and early 20th centuries and were assembled into the present public park system during the 20th century. Historic villa plots form the backbone of the landscaped areas and provide much of the formal planting.
The parks run along the coastline in the Nervi neighbourhood of Genoa, on the city’s eastern shore, and are accessed from local roads and the seaside promenade.
