The Palanga Amber Museum is a cultural museum in Palanga on Lithuania’s Baltic coast that showcases Baltic amber and amber art. The museum is housed in the historic Tiškevičiai Palace and sits within a large botanical park adjacent to the town’s seafront.

Exhibits focus on amber specimens, jewellery and objects crafted from amber, together with information on amber geology and regional cultural uses of the material. The museum combines period interiors of the palace with dedicated display rooms for amber collections.

The palace building dates to the late 19th century and was the seat of the local noble family; it and the surrounding park were later adapted for public use and museum purposes. The site has become one of the principal cultural attractions in Palanga and a centre for understanding Baltic amber.

The museum stands in central Palanga, immediately inland from the town’s main beach and promenade, within the landscaped Palanga Botanical Park. It is easily reached on foot from the seafront and is a short walk from the town centre.

  • Location to beach: Located directly behind Palanga's main sandy beach, making it easy to combine a visit with a seaside walk; the grounds are a popular local park.
