The Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille is the principal fine arts museum of Lille, Hauts-de-France, and one of the largest art museums in France outside Paris. Its collections cover European painting, sculpture, antiquities and graphic arts across several centuries.

Permanent galleries present works from the 15th to the 20th centuries, with attention to Flemish and Northern European painting as well as French 19th-century art; temporary exhibitions expand the museum’s thematic range. The building accommodates large-scale paintings and sculptural ensembles in spacious galleries.

The museum grew from collections assembled during and after the French Revolution and was developed into a major civic institution during the 19th and 20th centuries.
