Palais Brongniart

Palais Brongniart is a neoclassical building on the Place de la Bourse in Paris, originally constructed to house the Paris stock exchange and named after its architect Alexandre-The9odore Brongniart.

Construction began in the early 19th century and the building’s colonnaded façade and large central hall are characteristic features. It served as the trading floor for the Paris Bourse until the move to electronic trading in the late 20th century and now functions as a venue for conferences and events.

The palace occupies a central position in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement, facing the square that bears its name and sitting near major business and historical districts of the city.
