How to Get to Osoyoos#
Osoyoos is most easily reached by road after flying into Penticton (YYF) or Kelowna (YLW). The town sits at the southern end of the Okanagan valley; renting a car or booking a shuttle from the nearest airport is the common approach.
Penticton Regional Airport (YYF): The closest regional airport with scheduled flights (connections via Vancouver or Calgary). From Penticton, Osoyoos is about a 45-60 minute drive (roughly 50 km); car rental is common (about CAD 50-120/day) and airport taxis or shuttle services are available - expect CAD 80-120 for a taxi or private shuttle for the route.
Kelowna International Airport (YLW): Larger airport with more frequent flights and connections. Drive time to Osoyoos is roughly 1.5-2 hours (about 110-130 km) by car; shuttles and private transfers operate on demand - plan CAD 120-200 for a one-way private transfer.
Train: There is no passenger rail service directly to Osoyoos; the nearest major rail-connected city is Kelowna but passenger rail is not regular - travellers generally fly or drive.
