Why Visit Orchha? #
Orchha is sought after for its compact cluster of Bundela palaces and riverfront atmosphere on the Betwa. Jahangir Mahal and the ornate Raj-era cenotaphs create an intimate sense of architectural drama, while the town’s narrow lanes and riverside ghats offer photogenic views at sunrise and sunset. Local Bundeli cuisine and evening classical music gatherings give cultural depth, making Orchha a poetic counterpoint to India’s larger monument cities.
