North Sydney Oval is a historic sports ground in the suburb of North Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It is a multi-purpose venue used for cricket, rugby league and other community sports.
The ground comprises a grass playing oval surrounded by embankments and a traditional pavilion and grandstand that date to the grounds long sporting history. It hosts club cricket and has staged higher-level domestic cricket matches as well as rugby and community events.
The venue has been used for organised sport since the 19th century and has been the home ground for local clubs, including the North Sydney Bears rugby league club in past decades. Its setting close to the harbour and urban North Sydney makes it a focal point for local sport.
Geographically it sits in North Sydney, roughly four kilometres north of central Sydney, and is accessible by public transport and local roads.
