Norra Kvill National Park National Park

Norra Kvill National Park is a small protected forest area in Kalmar County in southern Sweden, preserving old woodland, rocky terrain and native forest habitats of Småland. The park is valued for its mature trees, sparse visitor infrastructure and scenic small-scale landscape.

Trails through the park lead past ancient trees, ravines and boulder-strewn ground, offering short, accessible walks rather than long-distance trekking. The area is used for day visits, birdwatching and low-impact outdoor recreation.

The park was established to protect representative forest types and geological features of the region and has been managed to conserve its natural character and biodiversity. It retains many of the structural features of long-established woodland in the Småland region.
