How to Get to Nin, Croatia

Nin is best reached via Zadar Airport (ZAD) with a short bus or taxi transfer into Zadar and a short local bus to Nin. There is no rail link into Nin itself; bus services provide the most direct and frequent connections.

By Air

Zadar Airport (ZAD): Zadar is the closest airport to Nin, with a shuttle or taxi to Zadar city and onward buses to Nin (the airport-to-city transfer is about 15-20 minutes). Zadar handles seasonal international flights and is the most convenient gateway.

Split Airport (SPU): Split is another option, though farther away; from Split you can reach Nin by bus or car in about 1.5-2 hours depending on route and service.

By Train & Bus

Train: There is no direct rail service to Nin; the nearest rail services terminate at Zadar or further inland.

Bus: Regular buses run from Zadar bus station to Nin (journey around 20-30 minutes). From Zadar Airport take the airport shuttle to Zadar bus station, then a quick bus onward to Nin-buses are frequent in tourist season and form the practical public-transport link to the town.
