Nimos is a small uninhabited islet in the South Aegean Sea, located close to the island of Kalymnos. It forms part of the Dodecanese / South Aegean island group and does not have a permanent population.
The islet is primarily of interest for short boat visits from nearby islands and for its natural coastal features. There are no developed visitor facilities on Nimos, so landings are informal and weather dependent.
Nimos has been used historically for grazing and by local fishermen, but it remains largely undeveloped and natural in character. Any archaeological remains or structures are limited and not presented as a managed site.
Geographically, Nimos lies off the northwest coast of Kos/Kalymnos in the South Aegean, within Greece’s island cluster in the eastern Aegean Sea.
