How to Get to Netum #
Netum’s ruins are reached from the modern towns of Palazzolo Acreide or Noto. Drive from Noto (approx. 40-60 minutes depending on the exact site), or use regional buses to Palazzolo and hire a taxi for the short rural drive. Roads are narrow; a car is the most practical option.
Tips for Visiting Netum #
- Visit the archaeological site in the cooler morning hours; the ruins offer little shade.
- Hire a local guide in nearby Noto or Palazzolo Acreide - they can explain inscriptions and point out masonry phases that are otherwise easy to miss.
