How to Get to Nelahozeves
Nelahozeves is a small municipality north of Prague best accessed via Prague's rail and bus network. The usual route is to reach Prague (PRG) and then take a local commuter train to Kralupy nad Vltavou or Neratovice, followed by a short bus or taxi to Nelahozeves.
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG): The main international airport serving the Czech Republic and the best entry point for Nelahozeves. From Prague airport take public bus + metro into Prague and then a commuter train from Prague hlavní nádraží or Praha-Libeň to Kralupy nad Vltavou; total travel time to the Nelahozeves area is about 45-75 minutes. Airport-to-city transfer costs (bus+metro) are around CZK 40-70; subsequent train fares are roughly CZK 30-80 depending on the service.
Other airports (Brno, Ostrava): These are much farther away; for Nelahozeves they are not practical for most visitors.
Train: The nearest mainline stations serving Nelahozeves are Kralupy nad Vltavou and Neratovice on the Prague-Ústí nad Labem corridor. From Prague main stations trains to Kralupy take about 20-30 minutes; fares are modest (approximately CZK 30-CZK 80 depending on train type). From Kralupy or Neratovice you can take a short local bus or taxi to Nelahozeves (10-20 minutes).
Bus: Regional buses link Nelahozeves with nearby towns and with Prague suburbs; public buses and local coaches are inexpensive (single tickets often under CZK 50) and suitable for short hops if train times do not match your schedule.
