The Neil Simon Theatre is a Broadway theatre in Manhattan’s Theater District in New York City, originally opened in 1927 as the Alvin Theatre. It was renamed in 1983 for the playwright Neil Simon.
The house is a commercial Broadway venue hosting musicals, plays, and touring productions and forms part of the concentrated cluster of theatres near Times Square. It retains much of its original auditorium function as a proscenium theatre used for long-run commercial shows.
