How to Get to Nam Ou
Nam Ou is accessed from the Luang Prabang region. Regular boat services and private longtail charters run from Muang Khua and Muang Ngoi; many trips originate in Luang Prabang with a combination of road transfer (to a pier such as Muang Khua) and riverboat. Travel times vary: allow a full day for major stretches.
