The Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace is France’s national air and space museum located at Le Bourget Airport in the Île-de-France region. It holds an extensive collection of aircraft, spacecraft artefacts and aeronautical material from early flight to the space age.

Exhibition hangars and outdoor displays house historic military and civil aircraft, engines, instruments and related objects; the collection includes key machines that mark developments in aviation and spaceflight. Several large aircraft are exhibited in dedicated hangars and conservation workshops are on site.

The museum was established in the early 20th century and developed alongside Le Bourget as an aviation hub; over time it expanded its collections and exhibition space to cover both aeronautics and space exploration.

The museum is sited at Le Bourget, to the north of Paris, on the historic Le Bourget airfield which lies within the northern suburbs of the city.

Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace is located on the Le Bourget airport site just northeast of Paris. From central Paris take the RER B to Le Bourget station; the museum is roughly a 1.5 km walk from that station (about 15-25 minutes on foot) or a short local bus/taxi ride from the station. By car it is reached from Paris via the A1 (Autoroute du Nord) heading northeast; the museum is about 11 km from central Paris (roughly 20-30 minutes depending on traffic).

• Visit first thing at opening on a weekday to avoid weekend and school-group crowds common at Le Bourget; the museum is large so early arrival gives quieter time in the major halls and the outdoor aircraft park.
• Get there by RER B (Gare du Bourget) and follow signage to the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace at Paris-Le Bourget airport - public transit is the most straightforward access for visitors from Paris.
• Buy timed-entry tickets on the museum website ahead of time and allow extra time for the outdoor display area; many visitors rush past the restoration workshops and technical displays, so check the schedule for any guided/restoration demonstrations.
