The park’s main viewpoint and the Muncho Lake Lodge are right off the highway-look for the signed pullouts at the lakeshore. The nearest fuel and full services are in Fort Nelson or Watson Lake; expect long distances between amenities. There is no public transit to the park; the Alaska Highway is the only practical route for private vehicles and tour buses.

- Drive the Alaska Highway with caution; fuel and services are sparse-top up in Fort Nelson or Watson Lake before heading to Muncho Lake.
