Muddus National Park

Muddus National Park is a protected area in northern Sweden’s Norrbotten County that conserves boreal forest, extensive bogs, mires, lakes and streams. It is valued for intact old-growth pine stands and representative northern wetland ecosystems.

Key highlights include deep blanket bogs, a network of small lakes, and river gorges with notable waterfalls. The park is popular for hiking, birdwatching and experiencing undisturbed boreal landscapes, with marked trails and simple visitor facilities.
