The Mouse Tower (Mäuseturm) is a medieval stone tower standing on a small rock or island in the Rhine at Bingen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a prominent riverside landmark and a frequent subject for photos from the shore or from riverboats.

Historically the tower formed part of medieval riverside fortifications and later served as a customs and watch tower. A popular local legend links the tower to a story about Bishop Hatto and an infestation of mice, which gave the structure its common name.

The tower is located immediately adjacent to Bingen am Rhein and can be seen from the town’s riverfront and from boats on the Rhine. It occupies a strategic position on the river that was important for medieval control of river traffic.
