How to Get to Mount San Jacinto State Park #

The most convenient access for many visitors is the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (Tramway Road off Highway 111). For backcountry or trailhead access, drive to Idyllwild and follow signed roads to the ranger stations and trailheads (San Jacinto State Park is about a 1-2 hour drive from Palm Springs depending on the route).
