Mount Moco is the highest mountain in Angola, located in Huambo Province, and reaches an elevation of about 2,620 metres. It is recognised for its montane habitats and species that are rare elsewhere in Angola.

Hiking to Mount Moco is the main draw, with routes leading through montane grassland and patches of forest; the summit area supports unique plant communities. Visits are typically undertaken by organised groups or experienced independent trekkers.

The mountain sits inland in central Angola’s highlands in Huambo Province, forming part of the central Angolan plateau and visible from surrounding highland terrain.
