Mount Ena is a mountain in Gifu Prefecture on central Honshu, Japan, with a summit elevation of 2,191 metres. It is a prominent landmark that gives its name to the nearby city of Ena.

A network of established hiking routes leads to the summit and several ridgelines, with trails used year-round by hikers and mountain walkers. The summit provides wide views across surrounding ranges on clear days and is often visited for seasonal foliage in autumn.

The peak has long been part of local geographic identity and has been used by outdoor enthusiasts and local communities rather than for any industrial purpose. Mountain huts and trail infrastructure developed through the 20th century to support recreational use.

The mountain rises above the city of Ena and surrounding rural valleys in Gifu Prefecture in central Honshu, Japan. It sits within a temperate, forested landscape typical of inland central Japan.

  • Elevation: Summit elevation is 2,191 metres, making it one of the taller peaks in central Honshu.
