How to Get to Mosta
Mosta is well connected to the rest of Malta by Tallinja buses and is a short hop from Malta International Airport (MLA). Public buses are the most cost‑effective option; taxis provide quicker door‑to‑door transfers.
Malta International Airport (MLA): Mosta is approximately 15-20 minutes by car from the airport. Take a Tallinja bus to Valletta (≈20-25 minutes, €2) and then a direct bus to Mosta (≈15-20 minutes, €2), or take a taxi from the airport to Mosta for about €15-€25 (15-20 minutes).
Train: Malta has no train services.
Bus: Mosta is on several Tallinja routes linking it with Valletta, the airport and other main towns; journey times are short (usually under 30 minutes from Valletta) and single cash fares are €2. The town’s central bus stops are convenient for the church and local attractions.
