How to Get to Moraira
Moraira on the Costa Blanca is best reached via Alicante (ALC) or Valencia (VLC) airports, followed by a taxi, car hire or regional bus/train to the nearby towns of Teulada/Calpe and a short transfer to Moraira.
Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC): Alicante is the closest major airport to Moraira on the Costa Blanca. From Alicante Airport the drive to Moraira is about 1-1.5 hours (roughly 90-100 km); taxis cost around €100-€140 for a private transfer, while airport buses plus local connections are cheaper but require at least one change.
Valencia Airport (VLC): Valencia is another option; the drive from Valencia to Moraira takes about 1.5-2 hours. Depending on schedules, flights to Valencia plus a hire car or bus/train combination can be competitive.
Train: The nearest mainline stations are in Alicante, Benidorm and Calpe; Teulada station also serves the area on the Alicante-Valencia line but check timetables as services vary seasonally. From stations such as Teulada or Calpe take a short taxi or local bus to Moraira (10-20 minutes).
Bus: ALSA and local bus operators run routes along the Costa Blanca. Direct buses from Alicante to nearby towns (Teulada/Benissa/Calpe) take roughly 1-1.5 hours and cost in the low single digits to low double-digit euros; from there a taxi completes the final short leg to Moraira.

Moraira is a small coastal town where beaches, restaurants and shops are generally close enough to reach on foot.
