The Montjuïc Communications Tower is a white, sculptural telecommunications tower on Montjuïc hill in Barcelona, designed by Santiago Calatrava and completed for the 1992 Olympic Games. It is commonly known as the Torre Calatrava or Torre Telefónica.
The tower was conceived as both a broadcasting mast and an Olympic-era landmark; its form is often described as a stylised figure holding an Olympic torch. It stands within the Olympic Ring near the Olympic stadium and associated sports venues.
The structure is primarily a communications installation and is treated as an architectural monument rather than a public viewing tower.
