The Monti Ausoni are a small mountain range in southern Lazio, Italy, forming part of the Apennine foothills in that region. They are characterised by limestone geology, karst features and Mediterranean scrub and woodland vegetation.
The range contains small villages and rural landscapes and is used for local recreation such as hiking and nature study rather than large-scale tourism. There are local nature reserves and protected areas within and around the range.
The Monti Ausoni lie in southern Lazio, between the Liri and Garigliano valleys, and are part of the broader central Italian Apennine system.
