Mont Agel is a mountain in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France located near the border with Monaco. The summit and slopes rise above the coastal plain, providing views toward Monaco, Nice and the Mediterranean.
The mountain is accessible by mountain roads and trails and contains forestry and military installations on its higher ground. It forms part of the coastal foothills that separate the Riviera coast from inland valleys.
Mont Agel lies within Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, north of Monaco and east of Nice, and is a short drive from coastal towns of the French Riviera.
