Mogorjelo is a late Roman archaeological site near Čapljina in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of the remains of a rural estate or villa complex dating to the late Roman period.
The site presents visible stone foundations, walls and traces of the villa layout that illustrate the scale and organization of a Roman agricultural complex. Interpretive signs and on-site pathways allow visitors to walk among the ruins and view structural remains.
Built in the late Roman era as an agricultural estate, the complex served local production and administration in the Roman countryside. It was abandoned in the post-Roman period and has been the subject of archaeological investigation and preservation since the 20th century.
Mogorjelo is situated in Herzegovina near the town of Čapljina and the Neretva river plain, in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Allow time to walk the whole site rather than just the central ruins-seeing the surrounding agricultural terraces and perimeter walls gives a much better sense of the villa's scale that many visitors miss.
- Check local opening hours ahead of your visit (hours can be limited) and combine Mogorjelo with nearby Čapljina/Neretva valley stops to make the most of travel time in the region.
