Moa Island (Queensland)

Moa Island is one of the Torres Strait Islands in Queensland, Australia, inhabited by Torres Strait Islander communities. It lies within the Torres Strait region north of Cape York Peninsula.

The island contains two main villages, Kubin and St Pauls (Mua), each with community facilities and local services. The island is part of the region’s network of islands used for fishing, cultural activity and local governance.
