Minu Island (Jazireh-ye Minu) is an island in Khuzestan province of Iran, situated in the river delta of the Arvand Rud near the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr. It is an inhabited island known locally for green spaces and agriculture.
The island contains parks, orchards and areas used for local recreation and farming, and it functions as a small urban and rural mix within the river delta. Infrastructure links connect it to the surrounding mainland.
The island developed as part of the Arvand Rud estuarine landscape and has been used by nearby urban populations for leisure and cultivation.
Geographically Minu Island lies in southwestern Iran within the Arvand Rud/ Shatt al-Arab system, on the river approaches toward the Persian Gulf and adjacent to the urban areas of Abadan and Khorramshahr.
