How to Get to Mindo, Ecuador
Mindo is a cloud-forest town west of Quito; the standard route is fly into Quito (UIO) and continue by shuttle or bus. Shuttles are the easiest and fastest; public buses are cheaper but slower and less direct.
Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO): Quito’s airport is the main international gateway for arriving visitors. From UIO you can catch a private shuttle or arranged transfer to Mindo (drive time about 2-2.5 hours). Local/regional airports: There are no regular commercial flights into Mindo itself; all air access is via Quito and then travel by road.
Train: Ecuador does not have regular passenger rail services linking Quito with Mindo.
