Mileševa monastery

Milea8eva Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery in southwestern Serbia near Prijepolje. It dates to the medieval period and is an important centre of Serbian ecclesiastical art and history.

The site is best known for its 13th-century frescoes, especially the iconic “White Angel” image, and for its collection of medieval wall paintings and religious artifacts. Visitors come to see the frescoes, the compact monastery museum, and the church interior.
