How to Get to Mezőtúr

Mezőtúr is well connected by Hungary's rail network via Szolnok and by regional buses. For international travellers Budapest Airport is the usual entry point, then a direct or connecting train to Mezőtúr.

By Air

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD): Budapest is the main international gateway for Mezőtúr. From the airport take the 100E bus to Kőbánya-Kispest and then local trains or buses toward Szolnok; from Szolnok there are regional trains to Mezőtúr (total travel time ~1.5-2.5 hours depending on connections).

Other regional airports: Debrecen Airport (DEB) is an alternative depending on flight availability but usually involves longer onward ground travel to Mezőtúr.

By Train & Bus

Train: Mezőtúr has a railway station on the Budapest-Szolnok-Békéscsaba line served by MÁV trains. From Budapest-Nyugati or Keleti you can take InterCity or regional services to Szolnok, then a regional connection to Mezőtúr; total Budapest-Mezőtúr journey is commonly ~1.5-2 hours.
