How to Get to Meiganga
Meiganga is reached overland from regional centres; Ngaoundéré Airport (NGE) is the closest regional airport. Most travellers combine an internal flight to Ngaoundéré or a road trip from Yaoundé/Douala with an onward coach or taxi to Meiganga.
Ngaoundéré Airport (NGE): Ngaoundéré is the main regional airport serving Cameroon’s Adamawa region and is commonly used for access to Meiganga; road transfer from Ngaoundéré to Meiganga takes several hours by car. Private transfers are available but the road journey can be lengthy.
Yaoundé Nsimalen / Douala Airports (NSI / DLA): For international arrivals you’ll usually fly into Yaoundé or Douala and continue overland; these drives can take many hours and are normally done by coach or internal flight plus road transfer.
