Meall nan Tarmachan is a Scottish Munro in Perthshire, part of the Tarmachan ridge near Loch Tay. It is a popular mountain for ridge walking and hillwalking.
The mountain name is Gaelic and the area has long been used for grazing and seasonal hill use; it became popular with recreational hillwalkers with the rise of mountaineering in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is listed as a Munro in the standard Scottish hill lists.
The peak rises above the northern side of Loch Tay in central Scotland, close to the village of Killin and accessible from the A85; it sits within the wider Central Highlands landscape.
