Marmaris is a coastal resort reached best by flying into Dalaman (DLM) and taking a shuttle or bus, or by long‑distance coach from other Turkish cities. There is no rail service; road transfers and minibuses handle most arrivals.
Dalaman Airport (DLM): Dalaman is the most convenient international airport for Marmaris. From DLM there are shuttle buses and private transfers to Marmaris (driving time ~1-1.5 hours depending on traffic). Shared shuttle transfer prices typically range and depend on operator; local public minibuses take longer but are cheaper.
Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV): Milas-Bodrum is another option; transfer time to Marmaris is longer (about 2-2.5 hours by road) but it can be useful if you fly into Bodrum.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Marmaris; the nearest railheads are several hours away (e.g., Muğla area with bus links).
Bus: Intercity buses run to Marmaris Otogar from major Turkish cities (Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya). From Dalaman and Milas there are regular bus and shuttle services; local dolmuşes connect Marmaris with nearby towns and beaches.

- Ferry / boat (Varies) - Marmaris has daily boat tours and seasonal ferries to nearby islands and to Rhodes (Greece) at certain times of year. Book in advance in high season and check passport/visa rules for international sailings.
- Taxi (50-250 TRY) - Taxis are convenient for late-night trips or routes not served by dolmuş; fares can add up in tourist season so confirm or use the meter where available.
