Margoon Waterfall is a notable waterfall in Iran’s Fars province, set in a mountainous valley of the Zagros foothills. The cascade drops approximately 70 metres and forms a wide, scenic curtain of water, especially in spring.
A paved path and steps lead from the nearby road and parking area to viewing points at the base and along the falls, making it a popular local tourist site. The area around the waterfall is rugged and rocky, with year-round flowing water dependent on seasonal precipitation.
The waterfall lies near the village of Margoon in central Fars province and is reached by regional roads from the surrounding towns and higher-elevation areas of the province.
