Mar-a-Lago is an oceanfront estate and private club in Palm Beach, Florida, originally built as a grand private residence in the 1920s and later converted to a members’ club and event venue. The estate occupies a prominent beachfront parcel within the town of Palm Beach.

The property comprises a large historic mansion, formal gardens and club facilities organized around coastal grounds; interiors and guest areas are generally available only to members and invited guests. From public points along the adjacent beach and roadway visitors can view the estate from outside but cannot access the private grounds without permission.

Constructed in the 1920s for heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post as a winter residence, the property later passed through foundation and government custody before becoming a private club in the late 20th century. It has since been maintained as a private estate and club under its present ownership.
