How to Get to Mangaf
Mangaf (in the Ahmadi Governorate) is a coastal suburb south of Kuwait City reached by road from Kuwait International Airport (KWI) or by car/bus from central Kuwait. No passenger rail services exist, so buses, taxis and private cars are the normal modes of arrival.
Kuwait International Airport (KWI): Mangaf is typically reached by road from Kuwait International Airport; the drive is around 35-55 minutes depending on traffic, using coastal and ring roads. Taxis and ride-hailing services provide direct transfers; expect fares in the mid-teens KWD from the airport.
Bahrain / Regional airports: Some regional travelers may arrive via other Gulf hubs and transfer by road or air to Kuwait, but KWI is the standard gateway for Mangaf-bound visitors.
Train: There is no passenger rail service connecting Mangaf; regional rail projects do not yet provide travel options.
Bus: Local and intercity buses run between Mangaf, Ahmadi and Kuwait City. Travel time to Kuwait City is typically 30-60 minutes depending on traffic and route; fares are inexpensive and frequent services are available during daytime hours.
