How to Get to Makushin Volcano #
Makushin Volcano is on Unalaska (Unga) Island near the town of Unalaska/Dutch Harbor in Alaska. There are no public roads that reach the volcano; access is by boat, floatplane or helicopter from Unalaska. To get to Unalaska you must fly into Unalaska/Dutch Harbor (airport serving the island) from regional hubs, then arrange a charter or boat transfer from the town.
