How to Get to Maihaugen #
Maihaugen is the open-air museum in Lillehammer. From Lillehammer railway station it’s an easy walk of about 1-1.5 km (roughly 15-20 minutes) or a short local bus/taxi ride; follow local signage for Maihaugen from the town centre. By car, follow the E6 north from Oslo to Lillehammer (the drive takes around 2-2.5 hours depending on traffic) and then follow local roads/signs to the museum.
