How to Get to Magdanly#
Magdanly (Lebap Region) is reached primarily by road from regional centres; air links are via Turkmenabat or Ashgabat with an overland transfer. Public transport options are limited and schedules can change, so plan transfers ahead with local help.
Turkmenabat (Turkmenbashi?) - Turkmenabat Airport (CRZ): The nearest larger airport to Magdanly is Turkmenabat (often called Turkmenabat / Çärjew region). From Turkmenabat you continue by road to Magdanly; expect several hours on rural roads and arrange a taxi or private transfer in advance. Domestic flight schedules in Turkmenistan are limited and changeable.
