Lubbock Lake Landmark

Lubbock Lake Landmark is an archaeological and natural history preserve near Lubbock, Texas, with evidence of human and animal activity dating to about 12,000 years ago. It is a research and education site associated with the local university.

The site features interpretive exhibits, visible excavation areas, and accessible trails that allow visitors to view research in progress and see fossil and artifact displays. Public programs and guided tours are offered on a scheduled basis for school groups and general visitors.
