How to Get to Loreto, Baja California Sur
Loreto is a small coastal town served by Loreto International Airport (LTO) with a short onward transfer into town. Overland travel is by bus, colectivo or taxi; there is no rail service in the region.
Loreto International Airport (LTO): Loreto has its own airport (LTO) very close to the town; taxi or shuttle from the airport into Loreto centre takes about 5-10 minutes and is inexpensive (typical taxi fares MXN 80-200 depending on service).
La Paz (LAP) / Los Cabos (SJD): These larger airports are farther away (several hours by road) and are only practical if you plan a longer land transfer or domestic flight connections to Loreto.
Train: There is no passenger rail service in Baja California Sur; train travel is not an option.
