London Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Stratford, East London, built for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and opened in 2012. It served as the main athletics venue for the Games and was later adapted for long-term sporting and entertainment use.
The venue hosted track and field events with an athletics bowl set-up that held about 80,000 people in 2012; after a legacy transformation it offers a seated capacity of roughly 66,000 for football and variable capacities for concerts. The stadium is used for professional football, athletics meetings, concerts and occasional large-scale events.
Designed and constructed for the London 2012 Games, the bowl and temporary seating were modified in a post-Games conversion completed in the mid-2010s to create a permanent lower bowl and new facilities for spectators and media. Since the conversion the venue has been the home stadium for West Ham United and a regular site for concerts and athletics fixtures.
The stadium sits in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, within the London borough of Newham. It is adjacent to Stratford transport hub and is inside Greater London rather than a distance outside the city.
- Capacity: Capacity was about 80,000 during the 2012 Olympics and was reconfigured after 2012 to a seated capacity of roughly 66,000 for football.
- Primary uses: Home ground of West Ham United since 2016 and used for athletics, concerts and other major events under a multi-use agreement.

- Olympic athletics bowl: The athletics bowl as configured for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games accommodated a running track and a field for track and field competitions; the stadium held about 80,000 spectators in that configuration.
- Post-2016 football configuration: The reconfigured pitch and lower bowl used for football and concerts provides a seated capacity of roughly 66,000 and a standard football pitch of about 105 by 68 metres.
